Each course includes sections of materials called modules. Each module culminates with an examination. The exams vary somewhat in length, but generally include multiple-choice, true-false, and matching questions. Exams cover all materials for a particular module. All exams are completed using our online exam system, are randomized, and timed to discourage academic dishonesty, i.e., looking up answers during the exam.
Generally, students who apply sufficient time to their studies, and use the resources available to them, have the tools to pass the exam. In some instances, students may unexpectely not pass an exam. In those cases, students may retake the exam ONCE (additional fees apply).
We are sometimes asked how long one should study for the course exam. It is difficult to give a simple answer to this question. Each student is different in their study methods and how quickly they can learn information. We suggest students check the links on our Resources page for tips about useful studying and time management skills.
