Dear Friend,
Thank you for visiting the Park Manor Academy of Psychology (PMAP) website, and congratulations on taking the first step to learning about psychology.
We have designed our courses to cut across sections of the population on many different levels and, hopefully, provide something for all of those learners. I am proud of what PMAP has to offer and believe we are an institution of choice, not a fall-back or alternative. We offer innovative programs through distance education. We are a private institution that provides quality university level coursework at low costs. Our programs are designed to provide you with the best education we can, conveniently and best of all, without saddling you with an unnecessary, enormous amount of debt.
It is widely known that one of the best ways to improve your future is through education. PMAP's self-guided study courses provide you the opportunity to learn AND receive a certificate as evidence of your accomplishment.
I have been involved in higher education for over 20 years. In that time, I have taught psychology to thousands of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This path has enriched my life. The development of PMAP is my way of 'giving back' and offering what I can to those individuals who cannot afford, or do not want to, pay the high costs of traditional universities. I would love to be able to offer all of this for free. However, given the expenses of running a school, it's just not possible. As a compromise, I've set fees as low as possible while continuing to maintain quality.
